GBUZ YAO "Clinical Oncological Hospital"

Currently, the oncological service of the region is represented by the GBUZ YAO "Clinical Oncology Hospital" with 345 beds, the oncology department in GBUZ GB No. 1 in Rybinsk with 50 beds, and 29 cancer rooms. A large intellectual resource has been accumulated, and more than 50% of doctors have the highest category. As a result of extensive work on improving oncological care for the population, the early diagnosis of cancer has significantly improved.

New technologies have been introduced in GBUZ NAO Clinical Oncology Hospital since 2007 :

- The use of ultrasonic scalpels in operations on parenchymal organs.

-And the use of radiofrequency ablation in primary and metastatic liver lesions.

- Three linear accelerators are functioning. High-tech medical care (HMP) is provided using ZD conformal irradiation on a Varian linear accelerator for tumors of various localizations.

- Provision of high-tech medical care in all departments of the surgical profile.

- Major repairs and modern equipment of 6 operating rooms in the medical building No. 1 and

- Introduced into the daily practice of examining patients using MRI.

In 2023, the new surgical building of the institution was put into operation.
