The art object, created on the basis of the best qualities of the poshekhonians, identified by the researchers, is an arch in the shape of the letter “P". Its design, inspired by 19th-century shopping malls, includes Gayutinsky murals and a figurine of a Czech woman holding cheese. This work symbolizes the multifaceted image of a hardworking merchant – a skilled artisan, fisherman, cheese maker, architect, painter, flax grower and craftswoman, who carefully preserves the traditions of his ancestors.

For the residents of Poshekhonya, Strelka is not just the confluence of all the rivers flowing into the Rybinsk reservoir, but a real center of power and the cradle of the region. This is a favorite place for walking, steeped in history. From here, from this sacred place, where the oldest monument of the city, the Holy Trinity Cathedral of 1717 (1757) with a bell tower, also stands, the history of Poshekhonye began. 4. Art object "House with a mezzanine"

Poshekhonye has acquired a new art landmark - the "House with a mezzanine". This is an old merchant's house of the 19th century. Poshekhontsy transformed it by applying an original solution for art conservation: they revived the windows, "settling" images of the past in the windows. The goal is to preserve cultural heritage, including valuable wooden architecture. The "House with a mezzanine" offers visitors a unique experience: the opportunity to look not just through the windows, but into different eras and social strata of the region, where merchants and talented people lived.
