In 2026, the Rostov Fortress invites you to travel back to the 17th century, to the era of the Russian Empire, the Troubles and the formation of the Romanov dynasty. But that's not all!
What will happen?
Two major city events: The Rostov Fortress on City Day and a two-day celebration of authentic ancient music. There will also be guided tours, lectures, workshops and other events.
Schedule
The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
