Kogan International Music Festival

Every year in November, the Yaroslavl State Philharmonic Society jointly with the Tereshkova Charitable Foundation and with the support of the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region organizes the Kogan International Music Festival.

The Kogan Festival was founded in 2014 by Dmitry Kogan, an Honored Artist of Russia, who was its artistic director and participant. Dmitry Pavlovich Kogan is a worthy successor to the dynasty of prominent representatives of the Russian violin school Leonid Borisovich Kogan and Elizabeth Grigorievna Gilels. He generously shared his talent and experience with young performers, and now his creative legacy inspires a new generation of musicians. The festival continues the work of the master, discovering new talents and presenting new cultural projects.

The Kogan Festival not only demonstrates the highest level of performing skills, but also actively promotes the development and promotion of young talents, continuing the work started by Dmitry Kogan.
