Every year, the day of the Tolga Icon of the Mother of God is celebrated in the St. Vvedensky Tolga Convent near Yaroslavl on August 21.

This is the main celebration in honor of the appearance of the miraculous image, which is considered the patron saint of the Yaroslavl land.

The main events include a festive Divine Liturgy, a solemn procession to the cedar grove, which is open to pilgrims only on this day. The gates of the monastery are open from morning until late at night. From August 20 to August 21, according to the established tradition, the night Divine Liturgy is served.

Every year, many tourists and pilgrims go to Tolga. On this day, anyone can ask the icon for healing and take a walk under the spreading cedars.
