From 1862 to 1875, the famous Russian poet, publisher and journalist N. A. Nekrasov spent the summer months at the Karabikhe estate. Here he took a break from the hustle and bustle of cold Petersburg, hunted, enjoyed nature and socializing with family and friends. M. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin, A. N. Ostrovsky and other famous writers visited Nekrasov in Karabikha. It was Karabikha that became a kind of creative laboratory for the poet, a place where he drew strength and inspiration. Russian Russian literature was presented with such works as "Grandfather Mazai and the hares", "Orina, the soldier's Mother", "Kalistrat", poems "Frost, Red Nose", "Russian Women", "Grandfather", "Contemporaries". Here the poet created separate chapters of the poem "Who lives well in Russia".
The Poet's Creative Laboratory tour takes you through the private rooms of N. A. Nekrasov and the literary exhibition "Nekrasov's Move. How the Karabikh works are arranged". The participants not only immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the poet's estate life, but also find answers to important questions: why his iconic works were created in Karabikh, what techniques and methods made Nekrasov an innovator, what message the author is addressed to today's reader.
The tour is conducted for organized groups of senior schoolchildren and students (at least 15 people) by appointment.
