This excursion program is dedicated to the Rostov Kremlin as a unique work of ancient Russian architecture and the place where the art and ethnographic museum was established in 1883. It lasts for an hour and a half and consists of two parts: a walking tour of the museum-reserve and an inspection of the exposition.
The walking tour includes an overview of the layout of the ensemble built in the second half of the 17th century according to the unified plan of Metropolitan Jonah III, a visit to the cathedral courtyard and an inspection of the Assumption Cathedral (1508-1512), acquaintance with the scientific reconstruction of the Metropolitan Garden.
The second part of the program is an introduction to one of the following museum exhibitions chosen by tourists:
– Museum of Church Antiquities;
– Rostov land: from ancient times to the end of the XV century;
– Treasures of the Rostov Kremlin;
– Finifti Museum.
