The tour introduces visitors to the Karabikha Estate, a place that preserves the memory of a prominent representative of Russian literature, the famous poet, publisher and journalist Nikolai Alekseevich Nekrasov. Karabikha was acquired by Nekrasov from the descendants of Prince Golitsyn in the early 60s of the XIX century. Works that have become classics of Russian literature were created here.
Not only the guide tells about the history of this place, the poet's lifestyle, his hobbies, and relationships with loved ones, but also the space itself – the interiors, Nekrasov's personal belongings, and family heirlooms. Unknown facets of the great poet's personality and work are revealed to visitors through the prism of manor life and culture.
The tour is conducted through the exposition of the Large Manor House for groups of at least 15 people by appointment. Phone number for recording: +7 (4852) 43-41-83.
