"Visiting the merchant's estate" is a sightseeing tour of the city, during which you will see the merchant's Myshkin of the 19th century.

"Visiting the merchant's estate" is a sightseeing tour of the city, during which you will see the merchant's Myshkin of the 19th century, visit the estate of the millionaire merchant T.V. Chistov, and learn about the resourcefulness and entrepreneurial spirit of the mouse merchants. You will find yourself on the Volga embankment, the Victory Memorial, and also visit:

- the mill of the merchant T.V. Chistov. We will tell you about the oil mill of the XIX century, learn the way of turning grain into flour and get acquainted with the "barn" mice.;

- the exhibition "Merchants' shops", where you will see what our merchants traded in the 19th century;

- the mansion of the merchant Timofey Chistov. Visit the Alexander Hall and the F.K. Museum room. The private room;

- the Russian Felt Boots Museum, where you will not only get acquainted with the secrets of making the warmest shoes in the world, but also see interesting exhibits.

- the ethnographic exposition "Flax" with the exhibition "The doll is my friend". You will learn about how flax grows from a small flax seed, how threads are made, linen is woven and clothes are sewn, as well as which dolls our great-grandmothers played with, how dolls were made, and what they served for.

- the museum of "living" crafts, where pottery and blacksmithing masters are waiting for you to demonstrate their art.

1. Estate of the merchant T.V. Chistov

Timofey Vasilyevich Chistov's estate was built in the middle of the 19th century and belonged to a merchant of the First Guild, who was engaged in the wholesale grain trade.

2. The Russian Felt Boots Museum

The "warmest" museum in Russia. It did not open in Myshkin by chance: for more than 100 years, neat gray felt boots were not fooling around in the city.

3. The Flax Museum

The museum will tell you how flax grows from a small flax seed and turns into a linen cloth.

4. The Old Mill Museum

In the 19th century, there were several mills in Myshkin, and the largest of them belonged to the main merchants of the city, the Chistovs.

6. Victory Memorial

The memorial complex dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was built in 2005.
