A unified calendar of tourist events of the Golden Ring of Russia for 2025 has been prepared. The list includes more than a hundred events of various levels and scales: gastronomic, cultural, musical, sports, folk and artistic. 64 of them will be held in the cities of the route located in the Yaroslavl region – Yaroslavl, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov Veliky and Uglich.
– The event calendar will be useful for both individual travelers and tour operators when forming tours for groups. The events will be interesting for residents and guests of the region and will help to further develop its tourism potential in accordance with the objectives of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Thus, 28 events included in the calendar will be held in Yaroslavl, which celebrates its 1015th anniversary this year. Additional attention to this date was attracted by the launch of the Yaroslavl Region – the Heart of the Universe rocket from the Baikonur cosmodrome in December last year. A large program is planned for the holiday, in particular, the military historical festival "The Great Past" will be held in the park on the Green.
Yaroslavl will also host the traditional Preobrazhenie and Zhivaya Glina festivals, and theater-goers will be able to plan trips to the famous Volkovsky Festival, which will be held for the 25th time.
Gourmets will be attracted by delicious events — "Feast on the Volga" in Yaroslavl, the gastronomic festival "Great Rostov soup – X centuries of traditions" in Rostov the Great and "Ugleche Pole" in Uglich.
Among the events of this year there are traditional festivals that have long been loved by Yaroslavl residents and guests.: "Living antiquity" in Rostov and aeronautics in Pereslavl-Zalessky.
New venues for events are actively developing, such as the Gostiny Dvor in Rostov Veliky, which was renovated last year. New formats are emerging, for example, the holiday weekend "And we hunt in Okhotino" near Pereslavl-Zalessky.
– We are glad that many festivals have received federal support and will be able to expand their programs. For example, the folklore festival "In Love with Flax" in Bolsheselsky district, which gathers hundreds of people interested in folk culture, will be held in May and August. The Rostov Fortress festival, expected by many, will take place in Rostov the Great again," said Natalia Bulakh, Executive Director of the Union of Cities of the Golden Ring.
In 2025, Yaroslavl will host 28 events that are attractive to Yaroslavl residents and guests, 18 in Pereslavl- Zalessky, 13 in Rostov Veliky, and 5 in Uglich.
