Yaroslavl guides were congratulated on their professional holiday!

A solemn event dedicated to the World Tour Guide Day was held in the YarSU Assembly Hall. 39 specialists were awarded with certificates of honor, commendations and memorable gifts with the symbols of the Ministry of Tourism of the Yaroslavl region.

– Thank you for the vivid and unique excursions, for introducing Yaroslavl residents and our guests to all the beauties, unique monuments and places of the region! Thanks to your professionalism, tourists come to the Yaroslavl Region again and again to get to know it better," said Gohar Vatinyan, Acting Minister of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region.

To date, there are 362 certified guides in the region. All of them have proven their professionalism to the attestation commission, which has been working under the Ministry of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region since June 2022. It includes employees of the ministry, teachers of the YarSU named after Demidov, who train personnel for the industry, and representatives of the hospitality industry.

Starting from March 1, 2025, the activities of guides without certification in Russia will be prohibited.
