Residents and guests of Yaroslavl can try gastronomic interpretations of classical and modern productions of the Fyodor Volkov Theater as part of the new Eat the Plot festival. In the year of the 275th anniversary of the first professional Russian stage, about 20 catering establishments of the capital of the Golden Ring of Russia joined the project.
– For three months, until the end of the theater season, which ends on June 30, in Yaroslavl restaurants you can get acquainted with traditional local cuisine, culinary delights of chefs, as well as with theatrical art and the work of directors and actors of the first Russian, – said Acting Minister of Tourism of the Yaroslavl region Gohar Vatinyan. – The Eat the Story Festival is another opportunity to attract gastrotourists to our region, who will find it easier to travel in 2025 thanks to the updated national Tourism and Hospitality project.
Among the dishes on the theater menu are "Moon dessert with blueberries "Running with Wolves," Tsiolkovsky cocktail, tomato soup with seafood "Venetian Lagoon", portioned pike perch a la naturelle - the same as served in Moscow's best restaurant "Griboyedov" at Bulgakov's Margarita and much more.
In May, the menu of the participating restaurants of the festival will also include traditional snacks and drinks from the theater buffets.
