The second and final stage of the All-Russian competition "From the South Seas to the Polar Region" included three iconic locations in the region, which were awarded in three different nominations.
In the nomination "Points of Attraction" – the Resurrection Cathedral in Tutaev, "Places of good Deeds" – the Youth Palace in Yaroslavl, "Space for Development" – Cheremukha Embankment in Rybinsk.
Voting for the facilities will last until May 4. Young people between the ages of 14 and 35 can take part in it.
–In the second stage, 30 of the most iconic places in Russia will be selected by popular vote," said Gohar Vatinyan, Acting Minister of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region. – And it is very important that Yaroslavl residents actively support our attractions.
The All-Russian competition "From the South Seas to the Polar Region" is aimed at identifying and popularizing the most significant tourist, educational and social facilities in the country.
Residents of Russia participate in the contest, you can vote on the website of "place of pride.Russian Federation". The results are scheduled to be summed up on May 9.
Residents of the region can not only influence the voting results, but also tell about the places that inspire them by completing a creative task.
100 of the most active participants will be able to travel around Russia as part of the updated national project "Tourism and Hospitality".
The competition is held within the framework of the Rosmolodezh program "More than a journey" with the support of the Other Business service and the Victory Museum.
