The Yaroslavl Region was among the most popular regions where Russian tourists booked glamping trips for the May holidays, and took the third place after the Moscow Region and Tatarstan.

- Modular hotels and glamping are one of the most popular accommodation formats chosen by tourists today. At the same time, the demand for them remains consistently high. The projects are focused on year–round operation," said Gohar Vatinyan, Acting Minister of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region.

One such example is the Vyatka Dachas glamping, which opened two weeks ago. To attract tourists, in addition to quiet and relaxing outdoor recreation, they offer various activities, visits to museums and cultural and leisure activities in the village of Vyatskoye, which is one of the most beautiful in Russia. Jazz evenings and concerts, as well as creative meetings are held here.

The Mazai Park Hotel has also prepared a festive program with interactive quests, family jenga and lapta tournaments, creative workshops for all ages and atmospheric evenings with live vocals.

Agropark Yasenevo eco-hotel invites guests to the Victorious May program. Under the songs of the war years, you can relax in nature, take a walk around the territory. The Raznotravye children's club is open for children, where a master class "Orders and medals" in quilling technique will be organized. At a local restaurant, guests can try borscht with fir oil, tartare with fried yagel, cutlet with spelt and soaked cranberries, and much more.

Dobrynino eco-farm invites you to excursions to the goat farm and master classes on cheese cooking.

The increase in the number of glamping is related to the support measures provided for the implementation of such projects within the framework of the national Tourism and Hospitality project. Thanks to a federal subsidy, 198 rooms were created in the Yaroslavl Region last year, and the total amount of compensation to investors amounted to 300 million rubles. This year, 27 new glamping facilities were commissioned in Vyatka, and about 50 applications were submitted by investors for subsidies for 2025-2027 for the construction of modular hotels.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
