The Rybinsk Sky Festival will unite aviation enthusiasts

The 7th annual aviation festival "Rybinsk Sky" will be held on June 7 at the Yuzhny airfield in the village of Kstovo.

– Every year thousands of people who are in love with the sky and aviation gather at the Yuzhny airfield in the Rybinsk district for the Rybinsk Sky Festival. This year it will be held on June 7," said Mikhail Evraev, Governor of the Yaroslavl Region. – The celebration will unfold both in the air and on the ground.

According to Marina Zhulina, Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region, the festival program includes demonstration performances by European and world champions, a fair of folk crafts, souvenirs and master classes, an exhibition of unusual flight equipment and much more.

Planes, helicopters, paragliders, and aircraft models will be presented at the Rybinsk Sky. During the day, the Russian Cup of Parachuting named after V.V. Tereshkova will be held. This is the most spectacular part of the aviation festival. An entertainment program "I would like to become a pilot!" was prepared for children.

The award ceremony for the participants and winners of the Rybinsk Sky competition, which was announced on the eve of the festival, will take place at 18.00. The authors of the best works will receive prizes.

Thermal balloon ascents will end the evening.
