A presentation of the Vetreno recreation center, which is located on the shore of the Rybinsk Sea, took place at the Travel! forum in Moscow.

– The International Travel Forum "Travel!" brought together participants from more than 85 regions of Russia, as well as delegations from foreign countries. We are proud that the region's experience in creating eco zones and attracting investments in local infrastructure was presented at the forum as a successful project," said Mikhail Evraev, Governor of the Yaroslavl Region. – We are working to expand the number of rooms in the region and invite investors to implement projects in the field of tourism. This year, they have submitted more than 50 applications for state support from the Russian Ministry of Economic Development for the construction of glamping sites. This is an excellent indicator of business interest in the region.

Representatives of the Vetreno recreation center presented their experience at the plenary session "Discovering Russia. How travelers are changing the country", moderated by Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and leading representatives of the travel industry.

The complex was built on the shore of the Rybinsk Sea in the Breitovo district with the participation of state support within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" initiated by President Vladimir Putin.

The federal subsidy for the creation of the modules amounted to more than 80 million rubles, and about 100 million rubles of investment funds were allocated, including a preferential target loan provided by the Yaroslavl Region Development Fund under the Tourism Development program.

Thanks to the assistance provided, the recreation center has achieved high performance. So, in July of this year, 55 rooms at the Vetreno and Lesnoy Bereg bases with 150 seats will be fully operational. As a result, the complex will be able to accommodate up to 190 guests at a time.

In general, the complex plans to accommodate more than 7 thousand people for holidays in 2025.

The Vetreno base is also constantly expanding the recreation format. An intensive sailing event took place here in the spring. Such events will become regular. In the summer, "Take a break and work a little" master classes are held in various creative areas. Throughout the summer, artisans and craftsmen in various fields will organize leisure activities for guests and introduce their work, and in return they will have the opportunity to relax with their loved ones for free on the shore of the Rybinsk reservoir.

There are plans to launch educational tours for schoolchildren and students with the participation of the Institute of Biology of Inland Waters in the village of Borok, which is the center of popular science tourism in the Greater Volga region in the field of biology, ecology, geography and related disciplines. During the holidays, participants will enjoy exciting scientific programs.

"Modular hotels located in the Yaroslavl Region attract a large number of guests," said Ekaterina Stepanova, Minister of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region. – Vacationers are attracted not only by the nature and sights of the region, but also by the creative and sports programs that the staff of the complexes prepare for them, as well as event events.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
