– Immersive city Festival "Removed. A lot. The Yaroslavl Convention Bureau's Ok has won a grant from the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives," said Mikhail Evraev, Governor of the Yaroslavl Region. – Even at the stage of development, the project received the Grand Prix of the XIII international award in the field of event tourism "Russian Event Awards" for the best idea of a tourist event. We support this and other projects that are attractive to residents and visitors of the city. We are constantly and consistently working to create a hospitality infrastructure, a memorable, vibrant event agenda.
The head of the region noted that the festival fits seamlessly into the events of the region, which are part of the implementation of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" initiated by President Vladimir Putin.
It is planned that in the future "Removed. A lot. OK" will be held annually, expanding the content with new chapters and names from the history of Rybinsk.
– It is important that the project does not pretend to be a historical reconstruction format. The entire building of the festival is one large photo and video zone where guests can generate a record number of stories and create their own content for social networks," said Ekaterina Stepanova, Minister of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region.
The festival "Removed. A lot. Good" was supported by local producers, museums, educational, cultural, and creative communities. The team of the famous Yaroslavl festival "Feast on the Volga" took an active part in the development of the project.
– Red Square in the center of the city, which, thanks to the famous signs, is already a historical decoration in itself, according to our idea, will turn into a large immersive film venue, – said Yulia Skorokhodova, producer of the project. – The content is based on the cultural codes of the city: boatmen, merchants, the Rybinsk Sea, shipbuilding, iconic names – Durdins, Nobels, Shenks.
