The 58th All-Russian Nekrasov Poetry Festival will be held at the Karabikha Museum Estate on July 5.
"Our region is closely connected with the name and fate of one of the greatest Russian poets, Nikolai Nekrasov," said Mikhail Evraev, Governor of the Yaroslavl Region. – The Nekrasov Poetry Festival has been held annually for almost 60 years in the Karabikha Museum-estate, where he lived and created his famous works for many years. This year, one of the oldest literary festivals in Russia will bring together writers and cultural figures from different regions of the country. This is a wonderful opportunity to touch the traditions of Russian culture.
The estate will host workshops, street performances and concerts with the participation of the best creative teams in the region. Excursions and contests, folk festivals, and manor games are waiting for children and adults. Everyone will be able to try their hand at creating a "Folk Poem".
The Nekrasov Poetry Festival annually gathers more than 5,000 residents and guests of the region. Such events contribute to the development of not only culture, but also tourism in accordance with the objectives of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality".
Representatives of Yaroslavl, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Orel, Kherson, Sakhalin region, Crimea and other cities and regions will come to the festival of regional branches of writers' unions.
Performances of the special guest of the international film festival "In the Family Circle", People's Artist of the Russian Federation Valery Barinov and actress of the Volkovsky Theater Natalia Asankina are also scheduled.
