On Sunday, July 27, the festivals "Be with the Russian Navy!" and "Living Water" will be held in Pereslavl-Zalessky, which are dedicated to the celebration of the Navy Day.
– Pereslavl-Zalessky is the cradle of the Russian navy. It was here that the foundations of our country's Navy were laid," said Mikhail Evraev, Governor of the Yaroslavl Region. – Such events help us create conditions for the development of domestic and inbound tourism, enhance the role of the tourism industry in the country's economy and increase the number of tourist trips within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The "Be with the Russian Navy!" festival is traditionally held in the Peter the Great Boat Museum-Reserve. A theatrical performance will unfold on the territory of the historical estate, playgrounds will work for families with children, musical and dance groups will perform, and folk craftsmen will present their works at the fair.
The Pereslavl Museum-Reserve presents a unique monument of Russian military shipbuilding – the wooden boat Fortuna, the only ship of Peter the Great's funny flotilla on Lake Pleshcheyev, which has survived to this day. The Bot House is a unique building, which for the first time in the history of our country is built around the main exhibit. Thanks to participation in the national project "Culture", the region received funds to renovate the facades of the building, the exhibition hall was put in order: walls, floors and ceilings.
This year, the Mendeleev Band (Ivanovo), the Belissimo Club concert program (Moscow), the Ancient Fireworks Theater (Moscow), the VIVAT Historical Ballroom Dance Club program (Moscow), and a park fireworks in the style of Peter the Great era and much more. The program will start on July 27 at 1 p.m.
The fourth Trubezh festival "Living Water" will be held on the Trubezh River. Residents and guests of the city will be able to visit the thematic exhibition-fair of craftsmen and artisans "Trubezhyarmarka", see the concert of the folk project "Open Stage" "City of people in love" and the water performance-concert "Living Water" dedicated to the Year of Defender of the Fatherland.
On Navy Day, defenders of the Fatherland from different times and eras will come to life in a theatrical performance. Actors and artists will perform a performance on dinghies, boats, catamarans, sapboards, and speedboats on the waters of the Trubezh River. The heroes of the production will be composers, artists, scientists, athletes, cosmonauts, valiant warriors, factory workers, home front workers.
The national project is supported by the Administration of Pereslavl-Zalessky and the Pleshcheyevo Lake National Park.
