Literary City art object
The monument "Literary City" was opened in Rybinsk. The art object is made in the form of a typewriter and is located on the Volga embankment. The prototype for the art object was the real Moscow-4 device. The opening took place on September 21, 2025, as part of the book fair, which was held in Rybinsk for the first time with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives and the Writers' Union of Russia.
The typewriter is installed on the Volga Embankment next to the monument to the poet Lev Oshanin. Young writers have laid an alley of writers in the Volga Park.
The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
