Cherished holiday (Votive holiday). A holiday in a village or city, established by lay people according to a vow, that is, a promise to God, the Virgin, and the saints. The reason for the holiday was the deliverance of the inhabitants of a village, a group of villages or an entire city from a natural disaster: fire, flood, drought, hail, pestilence of people and livestock, as well as other misfortunes that caused great damage to the economy. The holiday takes place for three days on the territory of the Danilovsky rural settlement (Guzhovo, Ermakovo, Zubovo, Leonkovo, Skorodumka, Krasnovo, Dityanovo). In 2024, the holiday will take place from June 28 to June 30.
