A hundred years ago", "Pereslavl is the birthplace of Alexander Nevsky, there are only 22 sightseeing routes; there are specialized excursions for different age categories and for people with disabilities.
Holidays: Christmas at the museum (January 7), Madame Maslenitsa (according to the church calendar), Night at the Museum (World Museum Day), the Festival of Historical Clubs "The Russian Fleet be!" (last Sunday in July), the youth festival "Intersection", the Pereslavl Autumn Art Festival.
Visiting rules: entrance to the museum is paid – 30 rubles. Tickets for the exhibitions are purchased at the ticket office at the entrance to the museum. Free amateur photography and video shooting is allowed on the territory of the museum and in the halls (except for the exhibitions "Russian Decorative and Applied Art of the XVI-XIX centuries" (sacristy)) and "Ancient Russian art (icons) of the XV-XVIII centuries.", shooting for commercial purposes – in agreement with the museum administration and a separate agreement.
