Danilovsky promenade

Danilovsky Promenade is a pedestrian zone in the city of Danilov, Yaroslavl region. This is a well-maintained part of Lenin Street from Cathedral Square to Sovetskaya (former Shopping Street).

The length is 300 meters.

The section of Lenin Street from Sobornaya to Sovetskaya Square became pedestrian in 2023 as part of the project to create a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements of the national Housing and Urban Environment project.

Guided tours are available at the Danilovsky Promenade. The program includes a walk along the pedestrian part of Lenin Street, exploring the historical part of the city, visiting art objects and an open—air exhibition that tells about the evolution of the bicycle.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
