Rostov City Garden

The Rostov Veliky City Garden was opened in 1830 on Lake Nero "to purify the air from the lake's fumes, for the health of residents." Since its foundation, the Rostov Garden has been a public recreation area for citizens. Electricity was provided in the park, carousels were installed, and a restaurant was built. And even the only fountain in Rostov was working.

In 2012, a large-scale reconstruction of the park was carried out. Now, during the spring and summer period, the park hosts entertainment attractions for children: inflatable trampolines (large and small), carousels, bicycle and electric vehicles, a playground, water balloons, a skateboard and other children's attractions. There are flower beds with fresh flowers throughout the park, and there is a summer cafe where you can have a nice break from everyday work.

In 2020, the Rostov City Garden became part of the Regional Center for Culture and Folk Art as a sector of the institution.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
