Toptygin House Museum

It is dedicated to the native inhabitant of the Poshekhonsky forests – the brown bear.

The Toptygin House Museum is dedicated to the brown bear, an indigenous inhabitant of the Poshekhonsky forests. Here you can see a bear den and hunting dens, stuffed animals on display. The museum features exhibits related to bears: books, toys, souvenirs. There are also a lot of teddy bears gathered under the roof of the museum. Each of them is a piece of the childhood of the local residents of Poshekhonsky district. The museum will be especially interesting for children. Interactive game programs, workshops, and exhibitions are held in the museum and on its territory. 

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
