Kirov Street

You are at the intersection of two very ancient streets - Kalinin and Perebakina, named after the nicknames of the medieval inhabitants of these places. Kalinina now bears the name of Kirov and plays the role of Yaroslavl Arbat.

The sad bear in front of you is the work of folk artist Nikolai Mukhin, in his paw you can see the author's mark - an apple with a leaf.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
