The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was erected in 1822 as an unprecedented one on the site of the old wooden cemetery church in 1773. The cemetery houses a place of worship for pilgrims - the grave of the locally revered Manechka Sokhotskaya, who possessed the gift of foresight. They went to her house for advice and help. Today, pilgrims are asking for intercession at her grave. . You can also ask the intercession of the icon of St. Anna Poshekhonskaya, who did not leave the faith until the end of her days. In the Assumption Church, you can pray in front of the face of St. Adrian Poshekhonsky. During the Soviet years, the temple was not functioning, it was partially destroyed. The restoration began in the early 90s. Regular services are held in the temple, and Christian rituals are held.
