The Museum of Enamel Art "Emalis"

The International Creative Center "Emalis", located in a picturesque location on the Volga River embankment in the capital of the Golden Ring, the ancient city of Yaroslavl, invites you to visit the only museum of enamel art in Russia with a rich collection of works created by leading enamel artists from Russia, CIS countries and abroad.

The initiative to create the museum belongs to two like-minded people: the People's Artist of Russia Alexander Andreevich Karikh and his wife Natalia Nikolaevna Karikh. The enamel collection has been formed since 1992. In 1998, the first practical symposium on hot enamels was held and the first exposition of the museum collection was opened. The decision to create the museum was made in 2011. During its implementation, a grant from the President of Russia for museum equipment was received.

The museum is available for individual and group visits. His collection includes works by artists from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Germany, Italy, Austria, Spain, Holland, Hungary, Japan, and China. Here you can learn about the history of this craft, be inspired by the works of Russian and European artists, and make a pendant or painting with your own hands.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
