A tall wooden tower with brightly carved architraves and a picturesque porch with the name "Berendey's House" stands by the central road, attracting the attention of travelers with its elegant appearance. This original house is home to the artful works of local masters of wood painting: cute dolls, charming figures of animals and people, whistles and other entertaining gizmos.

And for fans of Russian folk traditions, by prior request, fun holidays are organized here: "Maslenitsa", "Honey Savior", "Ivan Kupala" and others. Every year at the beginning of summer, famous fairy-tale characters from all over Russia come to visit Tsar Berendey, and for a whole day the city turns into the fairyland of Berendey.
