The house of the Kuklichev merchants

The Kuklichev merchants' house is a vivid example of late classicism. It currently houses the district's Finance Department.

An architectural monument of federal significance "residential building". A modest example of ordinary urban development in the forms of late classicism. It was built in the first third of the 19th century. It belonged to the merchant Nikodim Alekseevich Kuklichev, who owned the Yamsky inter-county railway and was active in charitable activities. Now the building houses the Finance Department of the Poshekhonsky district Administration.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
