Monument to Home Front Workers
The monument to the Home Front Workers is installed on Cathedral Square next to the memorial of the Great Patriotic War, in the form of a stele depicting a symbolic wheat ear. The inscription on the stele reads: To the home front workers during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
