A sculptural composition dedicated to Ostap Bender and a street urchin.
The sculptural composition dedicated to Ostap Bender and a street urchin is located on Kupechesky Descent at the beginning of Stoyalaya Street. She repeats a scene from Leonid Gaidai's film "12 Chairs". In the opening shots of the film, Ostap Bender is shown entering Stargorod, where he met a street urchin. The filming of this scene was done in Rybinsk at the very place where the sculpture is installed.
The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
