Rostov Petrovsky Monastery
The monastery is a center of veneration for St. Peter Tsarevich, who was buried here.
Rostov Petrovsky Monastery, according to legend, was founded in the middle of the XIII century. one of the descendants of Genghis Khan, baptized Peter Tsarevich.
The monastery's ensemble was severely distorted in the 1930s, and a number of its buildings were lost.
The Church of the Praise of the Virgin, built in 1695, the abbot's and fraternal buildings of the early 19th century, and the four corner towers of the fence, built in the middle of the 19th century, have been preserved.
