The temple is the first monument of provincial Baroque in Rostov.
The Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker on the Suspicion was built in 1745-1751. The interior design of the church was lost during the Soviet era. All the current decorations date back to the beginning of the 21st century.
The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
