St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Church on Vspolye

The Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker on Vspolye was built in 1803-1813 in the classical style. The monument has preserved all the main features of both the exterior and interior design.

The interior of the temple is decorated with iconostases and wall paintings of the 19th century.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
