St. George the Victorious Church in Pereslavl-Zalessky

The church in honor of St. George the Victorious in Pereslavl-Zalessky was built by the residents of the city in the early 2000s in memory of more than 12 thousand dead citizens in the Great Patriotic War, Afghanistan and Chechnya.

The single-domed brick temple is made in the traditions of ancient Russian architecture. The temple itself and the adjacent two-tiered bell tower are topped with small golden onion domes.

The temple is active.
