Berendey's House in Pereslavl-Zalessky

Pereslavl-Zalessky is the birthplace of Tsar Berendei.

Berendey's House is a kind of cultural and entertainment venue with a small museum, a souvenir shop and a stylized cafe.

The main focus is on interactive events and excursions, during which participants are told in a playful way about the peculiarities of the traditional Russian way of life, antique household items are shown and the main participant of the events, Berendey, is introduced.

Berendey's House offers a variety of programs. Guided tours dedicated to popular Russian holidays have been developed: Maslenitsa, Honey and Apple Spades. Berendey's kingdom is distinguished by a special expanse during the Carnival festivities. The program is so popular with tourists that you need to book places in it long before the holiday. Another mass arrival of tourists here takes place in early June: the festival "Visiting Berendey" welcomes participants from all over the country. The holiday schedule includes concerts and interactive programs. New Year's holidays are in great demand in the company of Berendey and his friends.

Notable among others is the Berendey Festivities program, designed for visitors of all ages and combining ancient rituals, traditional songs and fun. Wedding ceremonies are also held here in the old style with observance of all rituals.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
