The House of the Artist in Pereslavl-Zalessky

The House of Artists Gallery is organized by a group of painters, graphic artists and sculptors from the city of Pereslavl. It is located in a Russian house, traditional for small provincial towns. The gallery features works by artists made in various genres. These are portraits, still lifes, landscapes of the city and surroundings, genre paintings with scenes of provincial Russia of the past centuries. There are also objects of decorative and applied art, sculpture and small plastic, decorative panels for the interior. Museum guests will have the opportunity to purchase paintings by professional artists participating in exhibitions in Russian cities, Moscow and abroad as a souvenir of their trip or as a gift. 

Guided tours can be arranged at the gallery.:   

Russian Russian hut: what parts does the Russian hut consist of, what importance was attached to each corner of the house and what significance it had for its inhabitants. 

In addition, guided tours of Pereslavl are available for everyone.:

- history of Russian church architecture of the 12th and 18th centuries;

- the ancient Russian fortresses of Pereslavl;

- merchant manor complexes of the 19th and 20th centuries from classicism to modernity;

Master classes are held at the Artist's House:

- for the manufacture of beads;

- murals;

- drawing and painting;

- painting of fabric, batik;

- painting wooden toys;

- manufacture of clay products.



The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
