Monument to Ilya Pavlovich Tutaev

The monument to Ilya Pavlovich Tutaev is located in the "USSR Square". Ilya Tutaev, a young twenty-year-old Red Army soldier, died on July 11, 1918, during the White Guard uprising in Yaroslavl. Since 1918, the ancient city of Romanov-Borisoglebsk was renamed, it became known as Tutaev. The monument to the Red Army soldier Tutaev was erected in the middle of the 50s of the XX century, the author is the Yaroslavl sculptor Solovyov. 

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
