Barsky pond in the village of Pirogovo

The manor pond in the village of Pirogovo is a monument of 19th century landscape art.

The area of the monument is 0.1 hectares. The width of the pond is 20m. The pond is surrounded on all sides by plantings of birch, spruce, mountain ash, willow. According to local residents, the bottom of the pond is lined with decorative stone.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
