Solonitsa River embankment

The embankment was opened in 2019 in honor of the 805th anniversary of the founding of the village.

The Solonitsa is a river in the European part of the Russian Federation, flowing through the Ivanovo, Kostroma and Yaroslavl regions.

The very name of the river is associated with the numerous sources of salty mineral waters located in the river valley. In the valley of the river, especially in the lower reaches, there are numerous sanatoriums and rest homes that use the mineral springs of the Solonitsa valley for medicinal purposes. The river is popular with fishermen.

Some settlements on the shores of Solonitsa are the city of Nerekhta, Kostroma region, and the village of Nekrasovskoye. In April 1975, the Solonitsa River was recognized as a natural monument of regional importance.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
