Depot of the Vyatka volunteer fire brigade

The two-storey Depot building of the volunteer fire brigade was built according to the design of the chairman of the brigade, Ippolit Feliksovich Ivashkevich.

The high fire tower allowed for a wide view of the surrounding area. The old-timers told me: "The firefighters had a horse that, as soon as it heard the sound of the fire bell, ran as fast as it could to the depot building, stood rooted to the spot and waited for the firefighters to load heavy equipment onto the cart."

Nowadays, the renovated depot building of the Vyatka Volunteer Fire Brigade opened its doors in 2013.

The hall accommodates 100 spectators and is equipped with new lighting and sound equipment that helps create high-quality performances of any format: from concerts and creative evenings to film screenings and puppet shows.
