The Royal Gate Triumphal Arch

The Royal Gate Triumphal Arch is located in Pereslavl-Zalessky, in the park of the memorial estate "Botik".

A single-span triumphal arch made of brick, decorated with a bronze sculpture, was built in 1852 by architect I. A. Zherebtsov and decorated the southern entrance to the museum complex. This entrance is now closed.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
