Memorial complex to the soldiers of Danilovo who died in local conflicts
The memorial in memory of the Danilovite Soldiers who died in local conflicts was opened on August 19, 2007 on Cathedral Square next to the chapel of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God, also installed in memory of those who died in local wars.
The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
