Museum of a New Look at History

tickets are on sale on the website yarmnh.ru

In the 14 halls of the museum there is a real world history, recreated by the founders of the New Chronology Anatoly Timofeevich Fomenko, Gleb Vladimirovich Nosovsky and Tatyana Nikolaevna Fomenko based on the author's empirical, statistical and astronomical methods of dating ancient medieval events. Everything in the digital museum is a reconstruction based on recalculated dates — very conjectural, that is, it could have been, but the creators of the unique exhibitions do not impose their opinions on anyone, but only state their point of view on historical events.

Surprisingly, in this unique museum you will not need a guide, it will be replaced by a modern multimedia guide-navigator — one click on the desired number of the exhibition and all the information related to it will be announced to you in individual headphones. If you don't want to listen, read it, the text is duplicated on the multimedia assistant, the audio guide. Augmented reality is another built—in feature in a modern guide navigator. By pointing it at the QR code, the picture on the screen comes to life, you can see even the smallest details on it and hear, for example, the sound of waves, the movement of ships, the chirping of birds. By the way, for the convenience of foreign tourists, all the information on the wall panels, multimedia devices and digital displays is duplicated in English.

Everything here is so logical and consistent that every visitor immediately plunges into the abyss of a new chronology, his thought processes turn on, images and events acquire a hitherto unknown shade. The museum is multimedia, which means you can click, watch and listen to everything in it. And some exhibits are a minimum, even to try on. Alternatively, try on a helmet and feel like a soldier of the Battle of Kulikovo or Sultan Suleiman, wearing an embroidered caftan. But, as a reminder to everyone, this is a museum where historical facts, not exhibits, are collected, this is a place where the head begins to work differently. It is said that the shortest tour in the multimedia museum lasted only 14 minutes. But the record for the duration was 6 hours, so now think about how extensive, interesting and, most importantly, fascinating the expositions are.

50 digital expositions, 80 digital panels and projections, which bring to life the main characters of the past thousand years and reveal unknown pages of ancient and medieval history. In each of the 14 halls, you want to stay or return there again to once again see amazing pictures from the past — an incredible sight. On some digital panels and interactive tables, with the help of a modern touchscreen system, you can independently learn, for example, how the Egyptian pyramids were built or see the real first geographical maps. Visitors to the museum of a new look at history are offered to look at the 3D image of Ivan the Terrible, according to researchers, it combines four different kings - it is a must-see.

On each of those floors of the museum, you can get acquainted with the biographies of scientists who, like Fomenko and Nosovsky, doubted the chronological scale and worked in this direction. The cartoon about Christ's grandmother will not leave anyone indifferent, and visitors will also learn with bated breath that, according to the research of the creators of the multimedia museum in Yaroslavl, Kulikovo Field is located in the center of modern Moscow. Amazing? And that's it. There are many such interesting and incredible facts in the new museum space, the main thing is to take the first step and visit the exhibitions.
