The Cheporovskaya Library

The Cheporovskaya Library was organized on September 3, 1951. Until that time, there was a reading hut at the village club. The new library was housed in a rented room, and its collection consisted of books from the reading room. From 1951 to 1976, the library repeatedly moved to different rooms. In 1976, it was housed in the newly built building of the Cheporovsky House of Culture, and since April 1999, it has been located in the administration building of the Fatyanovsky rural district of Petrovsky rural settlement.

Today, the book collection includes just over 4,500 copies of books, brochures, and magazines for adults and children. There are about 200 readers in the library. The service area includes 8 villages and hamlets. The library serves users of all categories and conducts its work in close cooperation with the Cheporovsky House of Culture and the Cheporovskaya Secondary School.
