The park of historical reconstruction of Fatyanovskaya culture

The park of historical reconstruction of Fatyanovskaya culture was established in 2020 and opened on the day of the celebration of the 600th anniversary of the village of Vyatskoye.

Many people know from the school curriculum that the most ancient history of human civilization is largely connected with Ancient Egypt, Greece, Babylon. And what is known about the lands of the Russian plain in those distant times when the Egyptian pharaohs built their pyramids? There were times when there were no Krivichi, no glades, no Drevlyans, no Vyatichi. But the Fatyanovites lived here – ancient people, whose archaeological culture was named after the village of Fatyanovo, Yaroslavl province, near which a burial ground was opened in 1873. This culture, despite being well studied, remains very mysterious.

The park occupies a small territory and is designed to visually tell guests about the Fatyanovites themselves, about the archaeological study of their culture and the role of Vyatsky residents in it.

Nearby there is a Park of favorite heroes of Soyuzmultfilm and a Rope Park.

Important: the park is open from May to September.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
