Danilovskaya Art Gallery

The Danilovskaya Art Gallery was opened in 1997 (until 2012, it was the House of Artistic Creativity). On the ground floor there is an exhibition hall of folk art, on the second floor there is an exhibition space for contemporary art with an area of 130 sq. m.

Currently, the art gallery's collection includes more than 600 items. A significant part of the collection consists of the donated collections of paintings by I. K. Hvorostyanov, G. E. Blinov, the collections of graphics by D. T. Tutunjan, S. A. Glushkov, paintings and graphics by Yaroslavl artists.

The gallery conducts active exhibition work: 9-10 exhibitions per year, diverse in subject matter and genres. She hosted D. T. Tutunjan (People's Artist of Russia), Yu. I. Semenyuk (People's Artist of Russia), A. K. Petrov (Oscar winner in animation), M. V. Aldashin (head of Soyuzmultfilm Studio), V. N. Strakhov (People's Artist of Russia) and many others at her exhibition site. others.

The gallery hosts workshops, salons (musical, literary and musical), lectures, the "Night of Museums" campaign is held annually, and Artist's Day is celebrated in December.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
