Leonid Sobinov Memorial House Museum

The Leonid Sobinov Memorial House Museum is located in a small, cozy mansion built in the 18th century. The future great opera singer Leonid Vitalievich Sobinov was born here on May 26, 1872.

The house preserves the memory of three generations of the Sobinov family. It is filled with stage and family heirlooms: rare documents and photographs of the opera characters who made the artist famous, Sobinov's unique stage costumes, theatrical accessories, props that witnessed the artist's triumph, touching everyday objects that preserve the warmth of its inhabitants.

The singer's voice is heard here, which contemporaries called "unique", "captivating", "radiant".
