Children's art school "Kanzona" in Yaroslavl

The children's art school "Kanzona" was formed by merging the children's art school No. 4 and the children's choral school "Kanzona", the name of which passed to the current school. Now Canzone is a school with 2 departments (music and art), each of which has its own creative history and traditions.

"Canzone" – this name reflects the activities of the music department, because in Italian it means "song". Children are instilled with a love of music and singing. Collective activities and joint concerts foster a passion for creativity. The department has created a multi-stage training system for choristers, which allows them to successfully conduct educational activities.

The art department is focused on the development of children in the field of fine arts. Professional teachers implement training programs in painting, drawing, composition, decorative and applied arts and art history. The Art Department prepares students for admission to secondary and higher educational institutions of culture and art.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
